Germany 1972: Four men are ready for a big adventure. Equipped with experience, dedication and determination they embark on a search for pure music - and develop the first Canton speaker.
A lot has happened since then. The company headquarters, and old village school at the time, was transformed into one of the most modern loudpseaker production facilities in Europe. The German "reine Musik" gave way to the English term "pure music" and with it, a versatile and unique loudspeaker range grew from the first pair of speakers. Countless awards received over the years show that we continue to do all we can do to improve our product to meet the demands of the market.
